Job summary

Lower Colorado River Authority seeks a Transmission Line Engineer to join our team and help deliver a growing portfolio of critical transmission infrastructure projects in Austin, Texas. You will collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to guide projects from scoping through design, construction, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1+ year post-Bachelors engineering experience in the relevant area.
• Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support transmission line capital projects from initial scoping through design, construction, and closeout.
• Review engineering work by external consultants to ensure designs meet requirements, standards, safety, and codes.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Construction, Real Estate, Planning, Permitting, Operations and other stakeholders to identify and resolve constraints.
• Provide engineering support during construction via RFIs, evaluate field conditions, review design changes, and coordinate solutions.
