Job summary

Addison Group seeks a Transmission Line Engineer to lead design efforts for overhead and underground transmission projects, guiding them from concept through construction. Projects range from 4kV to 500kV and 69kV to 230kV, with collaboration across teams and clients.

Qualified candidates hold a 4-year engineering degree and 3–5 years of post-graduation design experience, with strong PLS, Sag10, AutoCAD or Microstation skills and familiarity with US codes (NESC, CPUC, ASCE, RUS).

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of post-graduation design experience.
• Ability to inform design process from prior project experience.
• Familiar with US codes and standards for transmission line design (NESC, CPUC, ASCE, RUS).

Responsibilities

• Detail engineering and design of overhead transmission lines from concept to construction (4kV–500kV).
• Detail design of underground lines from 69kV to 230kV.
• Possibility to serve as project engineer or project manager as needed.
