Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to design and manage overhead and underground transmission projects across Texas, including Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth and beyond.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) with 3–5 years of design experience and proficiency in PLS, Sag10, AutoCAD or Microstation, and MS Office. You may advance to a project engineer/manager as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of post-graduation design experience.
• Proficient with PLS software, Sag10, AutoCAD or Microstation, and MS Office.
• Familiar with US codes/standards: NESC, CPUC, ASCE, RUS.

Responsibilities

• Detail engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects from conceptual design through construction from 4kV to 500kV.
• Detail design of underground transmission line projects from 69kV to 230kV.
• May serve as project engineer and/or project manager as required.
