Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Transformer Field Service Technician Class A to lead and execute complex transformer projects across the United States.

You will guide field crews, interact with customers, and drive installation, maintenance, testing, and modernization efforts with an emphasis on safety and quality. Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3+ years of professional experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of transformer field service operations, maintenance, and electrical testing.
• Experience with transformer installation, assembly, vacuum and oil processing, and transformer internal components.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews during transformer service projects.
• Serve as the on-site primary contact for customers and subcontractors.
• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, inspection, relocation, retrofit, and testing of power transformers and reactors.
