Job summary

YAI is seeking a Program Facilitator to lead and moderate Family Support group offerings for participants including children, adults, and parents. The role includes intake sessions, documenting services, and coordinating with leadership to provide necessary supports.

The candidate will work in a structured environment, engage with families on site and ensure compliance with guidelines while updating curricula and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, training and/or certificate in program related field or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leads and facilitates one or more Family Support group offerings based on interests and qualifications.
• Conducts virtual and on-site intake sessions to collect information and coordinate supports.
• Engages with participants with varying verbal abilities and support needs.
• Maintains a safe and structured environment in partnership with support staff.
• Performs person-centered goal setting and monitors participant progress.
• Provides individual assistance within a group setting when needed.
• Documents services, attendance and billing in compliance with guidelines and in electronic systems.
• Ensures proper room setup and cleanliness for each session.
• Completes mandatory trainings and may conduct outreach presentations.
