Job summary

Butterball is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee trade promotion, brokerage, and deduction accounting, guiding a team to ensure accurate reporting, adherence to policies, and strong data integrity. You will drive month-end close, accruals, and KPI tracking, partner with Sales, Supply Chain, AR, and Finance, and own payment approvals and settlements while pushing process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
6+ years of relevant experience in finance/accounting.
2+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a team delivering department goals; manage HR actions and staff development.
Develop internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
Oversee trade promotion, deduction accounting, accruals, and broker commissions.
Provide data-informed insights and KPIs; report month-end activities.
Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, AR, Finance to align objectives.
Approve payments and customer deduction settlements.
Ensure accuracy of financial data and audit readiness.
Lead cross-functional process improvements and system enhancements.
