This hands-on leadership role manages crews, coordinates daily maintenance, and upholds strict safety standards in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates bring railroad track maintenance or related experience, proven supervisory ability, and strong planning and communication skills to deliver projects on time and within safety

Qualifications

• Experience in railroad track maintenance or a related industrial environment.
• Supervisory or management experience in field operations.
• Knowledge of railroad track maintenance practices and equipment.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or coordinating its use.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily railroad track maintenance and repair activities.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop track workers and equipment operators.
• Plan daily work assignments and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and completion timelines.
• Ensure track work meets company, customer, and railroad requirements.
• Oversee safe operation of track maintenance machinery and heavy equipment.
• Maintain compliance with FRA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
• Identify hazards and take corrective action.
