Job summary

ci2 is seeking an experienced Air Traffic Controller to manage the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of traffic at a VFR Airport Traffic Control Tower.

The ideal candidate holds a CTO Certificate with a facility rating, a Class II Medical Certificate, and at least two years of tower experience. DUTies include adhering to DOT/FAA testing requirements and coordinating departures and arrivals to maintain standard separation.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller.
• Current or previous CTO Certificate and a Class II Medical Certificate.
• CTO with a facility rating for at least two years in an ATC Tower.
• DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing as required before employment and periodically thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe, orderly flow of air traffic in a VFR airport control tower.
• Make decisions on takeoff/landing sequencing to ensure standard separation.
• Coordinate with arrivals/departures and other controllers to minimize delays.
• Monitor communications frequencies and navigational aids to maintain operational readiness.
• Provide on-the-job training as needed.
