Job summary

ci2 is seeking an Air Traffic Controller to oversee the safe, orderly flow of air traffic in a VFR airport tower. You will follow DOT/FAA regulations and coordinate with approach and center to maintain separation.

The role requires CTO certificate, Class II Medical, and at least two years in a CTO role; you will train others and handle weather and instrument flight rules considerations.

This on-site position in the United States requires independent work under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller.
• Current or previous CTO Certificate and a current Class II Medical Certificate.
• CTO with a facility rating for at least two years in an Air Traffic Control Tower.
• Subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure departures (IFR) and arrivals (VFR/IFR) are sequenced with standard separation.
• Coordinate with other controllers and facilities to manage movement of arrival and departure aircraft.
• Maintain situational awareness of traffic, weather, and instrument conditions to ensure safety.
• Provide on-the-job training to others as needed.
