Job summary

ci2 is seeking an Air Traffic Controller for a Visual Flight Rules (VFR) Airport Traffic Control Tower. You will be responsible for safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic with authority over takeoffs, landings, and sequencing in coordination with center and approach control.

Required are at least 2 years of ATC experience, a CTO with facility rating, and a Class II Medical Certificate. DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing applies pre-employment and during employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller.
• Must hold a Control Tower Operator Certificate (CTO) with a facility rating.
• Current Class II Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic in VFR airport in the tower.
• Make decisions on departures, sequencing, and use of runways to minimize delays.
• Coordinate with other controllers and monitor communications and navigational aids.
