Job summary

Parametrix in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Survey Party Chief to lead field survey activities with an emphasis on topographic surveys and to translate field data into accurate project deliverables. You will work closely with a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to support projects across Central Oregon.

Progressive land surveying experience, ability to lead survey fieldwork, proficiency with modern equipment, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

Progressive land surveying experience, including experience independently leading survey fieldwork.
Strong topographic survey experience and the ability to plan and execute field assignments efficiently.
Proficiency operating modern survey equipment and collecting accurate field data.
Ability to interpret plans, maps, record information, survey instructions, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and lead field survey activities, with a strong emphasis on topographic surveys.
Operate and maintain survey equipment, including robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, digital levels, data collectors, and related technology.
Collect, review, and document accurate field data in accordance with project requirements and established survey standards.
Perform field calculations and confirm the completeness and quality of survey data before leaving the project site.
