Job summary

Parametrix in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Survey Party Chief to lead topographic field surveys and convert field data into accurate deliverables. You will operate robotic total stations, GNSS, digital levels, and data collectors, working with a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to support projects across Central Oregon and beyond.

Ideal candidates bring progressive land surveying experience, strong topographic skills, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

Progressive land surveying experience, including independent field leadership.
Strong topographic survey experience with efficient field work planning.
Proficiency with modern survey equipment and accurate field data collection.
Ability to interpret plans, maps, and project requirements; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and lead field survey activities with emphasis on topographic surveys.
Operate and maintain survey equipment (robotic total stations, GNSS, levels, data collectors).
Collect, review, and document accurate field data per standards.
Coordinate with the licensed PLS, project managers, and engineers to support delivery.
Assist with downloading, organizing, and processing field data for CAD production.
