Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking an Advanced Tool Management professional to oversee in-house tooling manufacturing, maintenance, development and testing. You will lead the tool room team to ensure on-time production, high workmanship, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

The role emphasizes implementing standardized work, providing technical best practices and developing vendor relations to drive continuous improvement within the tooling domain at our Jasper,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years machine operator experience with 2+ years on CNC.
• Proficient with gauges: dial bore gauge, micrometer, profilometer.
• Able to read and create spec sheets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Lean Principles and cost improvement.
• Ability to work with internal and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate resources in the Tool room to ensure tooling is produced efficiently, on time, and to quality standards.
• Implement and maintain Standardized Work & Work Instructions.
• Provide technical best practice and establish standard policies.
• Grow vendor relationships that support continuous improvement.
