Composite Factory in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Tool Prep and Reconditioning Department Lead (TP&R). You will build a capable team to produce high‑quality tools and report to the Production Supervisor to improve tool management and processing.

This role emphasizes leadership, schedule management, training, safety, and collaboration with Planning and Production to meet daily requirements while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team to certify tools are prepped and reconditioned to high quality standards.
• Supervise department schedule to meet daily requirements.
• Communicate with Planning and Production to verify priorities.
• Manage training and development of TP&R staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adapt to schedule and priority changes.
• Cooperate with Mold Tracker maintenance and reporting.
• Address personnel issues with Human Resources.
• Generate and issue timely performance reviews.
• Support team efforts to achieve related results.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and policies.
