Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the THAAD production program. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, risk reduction, and proactive quality management across Make Sites in the United States. Travel within the US and flexible hours are expected.

You will ensure quality processes, perform data analysis, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver defect-free products and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• STEM degree at the bachelor level or higher.
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Understanding of GD&T, specifications, contracts用于 QE processes and related performance metrics.
• Must identify and document Make Site quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
• Ability to focus on continual improvement using causal analysis tools for corrective and preventive actions.
• Experience in disposition of nonconforming items.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LM THAAD Quality Engineering activities are effective through product validations per AS9102 and risk management.
• Provide systemic support for issue resolution with true root cause, containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support Make Site requests tied to program requirements and interface with customer needs.
• Drive Make Site failures/diagnosis and MRB activities.
• Develop technical solutions and liaison on quality engineering matters.
