Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking a Tool and Die Maker 3 to build and modify tools, dies, jigs, molds, and fixtures using precision bench and machining operations. The role involves leading and training Tool and Die Makers as needed and troubleshooting dies in both press and bench environments.

Candidate should have 5-10 years of relevant tool and die experience and completed Tool and Die school through TCAT or equivalent. This position is based in the United States with on-site work requirements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of tool and die processes and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to supervise apprentices and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Builds and modifies tools, dies, jigs, molds, and fixtures using precision bench and machining operations.
• Leads, directs, and trains Tool and Die Maker 1’s on as needed basis.
• Troubleshoot Dies in the press and on the bench.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
