• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori-inspired lessons and activities.
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
• Support children's cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
• Observe, assess, and document each child's growth and developmental milestones; establish consistent classroom routines and positive behavior guidance strategies.
• Prepare and maintain an organized, inviting, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and classroom experiences.
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and school leadership to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
• Maintain accurate classroom records, lesson plans, and student documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and school policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

About the Role

Park Schools Montessori is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our Pre-Primary (2-Year-Old) classroom. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment where toddlers can build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing meaningful learning experiences while fostering strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.

• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher in a toddler, preschool, Montessori, or early childhood classroom
• Strong understanding of child development for children ages 2–3 years
• Montessori experience or Montessori training is highly preferred
• Excellent classroom management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and highly organizedAbility to create engaging, hands‑on learning experiences
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Montessori Credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited program) is a plus
• Experience supervising Assistant Teachers
• Experience with developmental assessments and classroom documentation
• Familiarity with licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education
