Park Schools Montessori in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for our Pre-Primary (2-Year-Old) classroom. You will plan and implement Montessori-inspired lessons, create a warm, safe environment, and guide toddlers toward independence.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, Montessori experience, strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for nurturing curious, confident learners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Lead Teacher in a toddler, preschool, Montessori, or early childhood classroom.
  • Strong understanding of child development for children ages 2–3 years.
  • Montessori experience or Montessori training is highly preferred.
  • Excellent classroom management and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, nurturing, dependable, and highly organized.
  • Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and school leadership to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate classroom records, lesson plans, and student documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and school policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

About the Role

Park Schools Montessori is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our Pre-Primary (2-Year-Old) classroom. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment where toddlers can build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing meaningful learning experiences while fostering strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
