Job summary

The Growing Years of Greensboro, a licensed childcare center, is seeking Lead Toddler Teachers to support Two's/Three's and provide developmentally appropriate care. To be qualified we require a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks; an associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm. Compensation: $17-$18 per hour.

High school diploma required and ability to pass background checks.
Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans using current curriculum guides.
Implement lesson plans and curriculum weekly across all areas of child development and communicate via our app.
Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
Ensure safety and well-being of children; maintain an organized, clean classroom.
Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in November and May.
Assist with physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
