Job summary

Acquire4Hire is hiring a Lead Toddler Teacher in Wisconsin. You will lead the toddler program on a full-time basis, with a flexible schedule between 5:30am–5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Training is provided; applicants must be at least 18 years old.

You will develop daily activities, ensure child safety, collaborate with parents, and mentor junior staff while maintaining a nurturing classroom environment with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have completed high school or an equivalent certification.
• Hold an Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Development, or complete specified child care courses.
• Be CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification within 6 months.
• Complete 15 hours of continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a daily program for toddlers.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children in care.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Respect each child's dignity and promote belonging.
• Help children develop basic habits like eating, dressing, napping, hygiene.
• Communicate with parents via conferences and input.
• Support growth of assistant teachers and staff.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
• Ensure equipment and materials are accessible and maintained.
• Perform duties to maintain a smooth classroom flow.
• Prepare and distribute a monthly parent newsletter.
