Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Has completed state-required pre-service training.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods.
• Observe and assess children's development and adjust activities accordingly.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians and conduct conferences.
• Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and supervise indoor/outdoor activities.
