Job summary

Learning Care Group in Grimes, IA is seeking a Lead Teacher to foster a warm, engaging classroom where children learn through play. You’ll mentor fellow teachers, deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, manage the classroom, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure licensing guidelines and company standards are followed.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support your center’s success.
