Job summary

Ivy Kids - Silver Ranch in Katy, TX seeks a Lead Toddler Teacher to plan and implement daily curriculum, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and guide assistant teachers. You will oversee personal care, development tracking, and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth.

You will model Conscious Discipline, complete ASQs on schedule, and communicate progress to parents while coordinating ongoing staff trainings and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run.
• Must be able to lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the Ivy Kids curriculum activities.
• Keeps accurate records of each child’s developmental milestones, accidents, anecdotal records, and attendance.
• Ensure ASQs are conducted on time.
• Communicates with parents daily via the parent app.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Oversees and trains new staff and familiarizes them with program practices.
