Job summary

Ivy Kids - Long Meadow Farms in Virginia is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to plan and implement the daily curriculum, creating a safe, nurturing learning environment while supervising assistants. You will model Conscious Discipline and maintain classroom records for developmental progress.

You will also communicate with families daily, complete ASQs on time, and ensure compliance with state standards and Ivy Kids procedures to support a high-quality program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; must repeatedly lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements the Ivy Kids curriculum activities.
• Keeps accurate records of developmental milestones and attendance.
• Ensures ASQs are conducted on time.
• Provides daily communication to parents via the parent app.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
