Lilac City Early Learning Center is opening a brand-new Balboa Elementary campus to serve up to 8 toddlers with two teachers, licensed for 32 children total. The Lead Teacher will build warm, developmentally appropriate classrooms grounded in Conscious Discipline and trauma-informed care.

You will plan engaging curricula, supervise aides, complete developmental assessments, and participate in family conferences and licensing responsibilities as part of a collaborative teaching team.

Formación

• Licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in Washington State.
• Required CPR/First Aid, Food Worker Card, DCYF Background Check, Mandatory Trainings, and STARS requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Create a nurturing classroom environment.
• Plan and implement engaging curriculum.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Complete developmental assessments.
• Conduct family conferences.
• Maintain daily communication with families.
• Supervise Assistant Teachers and Aides.
• Maintain classroom documentation.
• Meet licensing requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
