Job summary

Hometown Preschool in Verona, WI is seeking a toddler teacher to join our state-of-the-art childcare facility. We want a master multi-tasker with excellent communication and a positive attitude who can help our school grow and educate children, families, and the community.

You will organize activities, supervise safety, meet basic needs, and lead daily sensory and motor activities while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Professional (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Infant / Toddler Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Must be able to pass FBI background check and complete CPR within 3 months, and pursue early childhood classes to work in a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children.
• Take care of basic needs of children such as feeding, changing diapers, and keeping good cleanliness of children.
• Perform sensory, music and movement, large motor activities and small motor projects are required to be done daily.

What You'll Be Doing

Required Experience And Skills

Early Child Care Experience Preferred

• CPR / First Aid, Shaken Baby, SIDS training (upon employment)
• Must be able to work as a supportive member of our team

Requirements
