Your key responsibilities as a toddler teacher will include creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional growth, and maintaining open communication with parents. You'll also assist with daily tasks, supervise playtime, and create a safe and nurturing environment for our little ones.
To qualify for this role, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent. Our centers require additional qualifications, such as completing early childhood education courses or obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Experience working with toddlers or young children is also beneficial. Additional requirements include CPR and First Aid certification, a background check, and completion of early childhood education courses. A nurturing and patient personality, along with excellent communication skills, are essential.
As a toddler teacher, it's desirable to have a patient and nurturing nature, excellent communication skills, creativity to plan engaging activities, and the ability to adapt to each child's needs. A sense of humor and a love for working with young children are also valuable assets.
