Job summary

Cornerstone Learning Center- Southwind in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lead Teacher for Toddlers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks; one year of childcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the classroom in line with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities supporting growth in emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical areas.
• Take initiative, accept feedback, and implement improvements as needed.
• Create and maintain a clean, safe environment for all children.
• Establish professional rapport with each family to provide quality care.
• Ability to work around small children; sit, stand, walk, run, climb stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Cornerstone Learning Center- Southwind is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers for the following classroom: Toddlers

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. One year of previous childcare experience preferred!

Required Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Compensation: $15-16 per hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities
