Job summary

The Learning Experience in Missouri is hiring an Experienced Preschool Teacher for our 2.5 year old classroom. You will help children learn through play, growth-minded instruction, and our LEAP Curriculum®. A supportive team and growth opportunities are provided.

We value passionate educators who foster a safe, nurturing environment and regularly communicate with families. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with benefits and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required).
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).
• CDA preferred; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
• At least 6 months of professional childcare experience required (1+ year preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet all Missouri state childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, aligned to each child’s needs.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s adventures and progress.
• Collaborate with daycare staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
• Assist with potty training.
