The Learning Experience - Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an Experienced Preschool Teacher for a 2 year old classroom. You will create an engaging space, foster a love of learning, and implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® across age groups while ensuring safety and nurturing support for every child.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months (required).
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).
• CDA preferred; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet all Missouri state childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements.
• Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen.
• Assisting with potty training.
