Job summary

Child Saving Institute is seeking a Lead Educator for Toddlers at our Mary Holland Campus in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on supervising daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging environment, and fostering early development through structured learning.

The candidate should have 3+ years in early childhood education, strong communication, and a background in child development with ECE or CDA credentials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in early childhood education or child development.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Knowledge of child developmental stages, classroom management, and licensing requirements.
• At least 19 years of age and a degree in ECE or CDA credential OR equivalent (see above) or HS diploma with CDA within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily classroom activities.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment and foster healthy development.
• Engage children through structured learning and activities.
• Maintain daily records related to care and progress of each child.
• Ensure safety and engagement during activities and outings.
• Communicate effectively with parents and discuss concerns.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and organized learning environment.
