Job summary

The Learning Experience – South Lyon Township is hiring a Lead Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old Prep classroom in Michigan. You will lead daily routines, implement the LEAP Curriculum, and foster language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.

Join a supportive center with opportunities for training, collaboration with families and staff, and a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. A strong classroom presence and confidence in guiding toddlers are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with toddlers/two-year-olds strongly preferred.
• CDA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills.
• Guide children through meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and center leadership.
• Build strong relationships with families.
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
