Job summary

Stripe is seeking a seasoned Third Party Risk Management professional to maintain our global risk program and policy framework from our San Francisco Bay Area office. You will partner with risk, procurement, legal, and other stakeholders to drive maturity and uniform standards across third-party relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in risk/compliance, strong communication, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in risk or compliance roles, preferably third-party risk in a regulated environment.
• Proven experience managing distinct projects and programs, with strong stakeholder management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across risk and compliance stakeholders.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to assess data and draw insightful conclusions while handling ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Global Third Party Risk Management Program, Policy, and Framework, ensuring alignment with regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Launch and mature nascent risk domains to increase overall program maturity.
• Design and support an enhanced oversight model for specialized third-party types including Partnerships and Contingent Workers.
• Design and enhance elements of the Third Party Risk Framework including offboarding and incident monitoring.
• Build and oversee the third-party performance management function with metric templates and ongoing monitoring.
• Design reporting to monitor and communicate program status, issues, and remediation plans to governance committees and leaders.
• Serve as SME and coordinator of system requirements among risk domain owners, prioritizing Users First and Risk Focused.
