Job summary

Crestron Electronics seeks a Mechanical Engineer specializing in thermal analysis to lead end-to-end electronics cooling solutions. You will design, simulate, and validate thermal architectures, using CFD and CAD tools to optimize performance and ensure EMI compliance.

The role requires presenting results to multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating with design and test engineers, and driving improvements from concept to production while working a hybrid schedule in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Proficiency in CAD tools with strong understanding of heat transfer in electronics cooling.
• Experience developing thermal models and performing CFD-driven analysis.
• Ability to interpret CFD results and present to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish end-to-end thermal architecture and validation for electronic products.
• Combine analytical and CFD methods to accelerate thermal solution development.
• Develop detailed assembly models in Creo or SolidWorks with EMI-related design features.
• Present findings to engineering teams and management.
• Assist in thermal verification testing and resolve discrepancies between simulations and lab results.
• Apply heat transfer principles to develop innovative cooling technologies.
