Job summary

Gfoat is seeking a stage operations coordinator for the Irving Arts Center in Irving, TX. You will coordinate theater technicians and volunteer groups during setup, operation and strike of presentations, plan crew calls, and oversee equipment and systems maintenance.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with two years of theater production experience. Knowledge of lighting, audio, rigging, carpentry and scenic construction is required; ETCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of theater production or related experience.
• Knowledge of theatrical lighting, audio, rigging/counterweight systems, basic carpentry and scenic construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist theater technicians and volunteers in setup, operation and strike of performances.
• Plan stage activities for crew call and coordinate with front-of-house staff.
• Maintain equipment inventory and records, generate reports, and use event management software to record event information.
• Work at heights up to 80 ft and lift up to 75 pounds.
