Job summary

Plano ISD invites applications for a Fine Arts/ Event and Technical Facilitator to support technical aspects of Robinson Fine Arts Center events, productions and rentals. The role includes coordinating with production staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.

The position focuses on training operations staff, maintaining lighting, audio, video and rigging systems, and upholding safety standards while supporting district partnerships and community events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical Theatre, Performing Arts, Performing Arts Management / Production or equivalent experience.
• Associate Degree with equivalent professional experience considered.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support technical aspects of events, including production personnel and equipment.
• Assist managers with safety guidelines and maintenance protocols for the Robinson Fine Arts Center.
• Supervise hourly staff, student workers, interns and volunteers during events.
• Coordinate training of operations staff on technical systems center-wide.
• Travel to campuses as needed to troubleshoot and service lighting, video, audio, rigging, staging equipment.
• Manage budgets, purchasing requests and time sheets; track expenses and inventories.
