Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. in Newark, CA is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead the Test Engineering team in an electronics manufacturing environment.

You will drive PCBA testing strategy, oversee Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and product quality. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in test engineering, 3+ years leading teams, and a strong track record in improving test efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably in EMS/PCBA/electronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in PCBA Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe Testing.
• Experience overseeing test program development, test fixture design, validation, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCBA design, and manufacturing test methodologies.
• Experience supporting NPI, production ramp-up, and yield improvement.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Test Engineers with clear priorities and goals.
• Define test engineering strategies, standards, and best practices across programs.
• Oversee development and maintenance of PCBA testing solutions including Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe.
• Ensure test coverage meets product requirements and manufacturing quality expectations.
• Drive root-cause analysis and improvements to test reliability and yield.
