Job summary

NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to lead planning, execution and continuous improvement of safety-critical testing programs for its advanced reactor systems.

You will design experiments, oversee test strategies and ensure testing meets quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. The role requires comfort with hardware, instrumentation and data analysis in highly regulated environments, plus strong QA skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering in a regulated environment.
• Experience with test plans for safety-critical systems.
• BS in Engineering or related field.
• Lead investigator or technical lead on test programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and execute test plans and experimental setups, including approvals and documentation.
• Partner with engineering to ensure facility is properly equipped.
• Collect data to support engineering decisions and communicate results.
• Lead test design reviews, proposals and documentation.
• Maintain test equipment, fixtures, parts and materials.
• Execute testing safely, repeatedly and in compliance with QA standards.
• Operate in compliance with EHS standards.
