Job summary

Averro is seeking a Test Engineer to advance cutting-edge clean energy portable power solutions. The role requires hands-on testing in regulated environments such as nuclear, aerospace, or industrial sectors, with emphasis on designing experiments and robust data collection.

The candidate will design and execute tests, lead reviews, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safe facility setup and compliant testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years hands-on test experience in highly regulated industries.
• Experience leading test programs, designing experiments with pressurized systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
• Able to design experiments, execute them, and interpret results, not just oversee others.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of hands-on test engineering experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, defense, or industrial)

Proven experience leading test programs, designing experiments with pressurized systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition

Experience with:

• Pressurized systems, pressure vessels, piping, and associated safety considerations
• Instrumentation, measurements, and basic data acquisition concepts (integration, validation, asking the right questions)
• Able to design experiments, execute them, and interpret results, not just oversee others

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

Nuclear Engineering degree or test experience in nuclear industry
