Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Engineer for Testing in Peebles to drive laboratory and field validation activities, build and upgrade test facilities, and lead a team across multiple projects. You will coordinate with infrastructure, sourcing, and government property teams to meet program goals.

The role requires a DoD clearance, SAP experience, and strong communication and project management skills, with responsibility for developing staff and ensuring high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, laboratory, or testing experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory and field validation testing, inspection, and data acquisition for design and validation of products and services.
• Design and construction of test facilities, instrumentation systems and development of test software.
• Direct people management including staffing and performance development.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Sourcing and Government Property managers to meet business objectives.
