This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys software and electrical design, test system development, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced aerospace environment. At GE Aerospace in Dayton, OH the EPISCenter is the headquarters for our Electric Power and Propulsion business. At this facility you have an opportunity to put your engineering training and skills to use. Our engineers are focused and challenged on developing new technologies and delivering state of the art products such as hybrid electric power systems, the latest military power platforms, and highly efficient legacy / commercial AC power systems as seen on the F-18 and the new Boeing 777X. Plus, if you like hands-on work, there is also a 155,000 sq ft lab that includes 7 high power test cells totaling 15 MW, an EMI chamber, an electronics lab, a rapid build prototype lab, and a real time simulator lab with all the latest equipment. The Advanced Technology Organization is responsible for driving growth through technology by researching customer needs both met and unmet, then finding solutions.
