Job summary

Techridge, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our QA team in NY for a 6+ month contract. You will design and implement automated and manual tests, drive QA processes, and collaborate with development and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software testing, strong experience with Selenium/Playwright, API testing, CI pipelines, and performance testing, plus excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
Experience with web application testing and CI processes.
Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (ADO, JIRA, RCLM).
Knowledge of SQL databases.
Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Playwright.
Experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
Experience with performance testing tools using JMeter, LoadRunner.
Experience with manual testing.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile/ waterfall process.
Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
Design and implement test plans and test cases.
Develop and execute automated/ manual UI and functional tests.
Enhance and maintain automated CI flows.
Review and validate UAT test results.
Troubleshoot issues in systems under test.
