Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Embedded Testing Lead Engineer for its Critical Power Solutions Division. The role supports design verification and validation for RPP, DCPD, and PDU products, across embedded firmware and hardware in a hybrid Raleigh, NC or Richmond, VA setting.

You will lead automated and manual testing, develop test plans, and drive CI/CD integration for rapid feedback. Strong LabVIEW/TestStand and programming skills are required to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in embedded systems, firmware testing, and system-level verification.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.

Responsibilities

• Define and own overall test strategies and verification approaches for RPP, STS, and PDU products.
• Lead test plan development, verification matrices, procedures, and validation reports.
• Lead manual and automated testing for embedded firmware, controls, and system-level functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, Robot Framework, and C#.
