Job summary

CAE is seeking a Test Director in Arlington, TX to oversee the testing and evaluation of Multi-Engine Fixed-Wing aircraft for simulation and training device programs. You will build and lead integration, test and deployment activities, ensuring requirements are verified and validated before customer acceptance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in senior aircraft maintenance management or training leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance required. Eligible for TS/SCI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in office and military settings.
• Ability to stay calm during tense discussions and be the voice of reason.
• Strong analytical skills to assist engineering with issue identification and root cause analysis.
• Experience interfacing with customers and end users.
• Military maintenance lead or crew chief experience on large multi-engine aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software system integration.
• Perform pre- and post-integration testing of training devices; lead all test efforts.
• Write test plans and document results in formal reports.
• Manage discrepancy review boards with customers/government reps.
• Monitor testing aspects for cost, schedule and technical issues.
• Occasional weekend/off-shift work; travel up to 50%.
