Job summary

Elekta is seeking a Lead Software Developer in Test to shape the quality engineering strategy for its radiation therapy systems. You will drive modern automation, champion shift-left quality, and ensure compliance in a safety-critical medical device environment.

You will design automated test frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD, mentor engineers, and lead quality initiatives to deliver reliable software across global deployments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Software Developer in Test or SDET.
• Proven ability to define and execute test automation strategies.
• Hands-on with modern automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and evolution of automated test frameworks for safety-critical software.
• Define and implement test automation strategies to support high-quality delivery.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
• Act as the technical authority for test architecture, tooling, and quality practices.
• Mentor SDETs and test engineers, promoting a quality-first culture.
• Drive continuous improvement through new testing technologies and practices.
• Investigate and resolve complex software quality issues and shape long-term quality roadmaps.
