Job summary

Apex Park and Recreation District seeks a Lead Tennis Professional to drive adult and youth programming, manage private lesson schedules, and serve as a positive ambassador for the facility and its mission. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of tennis teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of long-term athlete development and junior pathway programming.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• RSPA, PTR, USTA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and retain private lesson schedule.
• Lead and run adult and youth programming of all levels.
• Organize and move 8 players on a court for 90 minutes or adapt to this style of drill.
• Mentor coaches or lead educational initiatives where applicable.
• Build relationships with players, parents, and community members.
• Support special events, tournaments, exhibitions, and community outreach initiatives.
• Assist Head Tennis Professional with departmental projects and other duties as assigned.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
