Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs in West Michigan is seeking a Head Tennis Professional to lead group and private lessons and support program growth. You will work with the Racquet Sports Manager to maintain high teaching standards and deliver engaging sessions for all ages.

Responsibilities include managing class records, client scheduling, and promoting tennis activities within the community. The role requires USTA membership, USPTA/USPTR certification, and 3+ years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• USTA member.
• USPTA or USPTR certification as Professional or higher; if not, must attain within 6 months.
• Minimum of three to four years of college education.
• Involvement with USTA and local tennis organizations.
• First Aid/CPR training.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
• College playing experience preferred at NCAA Div I-III.
• Customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and private lesson instruction for all ages 3 and up.
• Maintain impeccable teaching standards on court and in drills.
• Assist with program administration with the Racquet Sports Manager.
• Maintain records of students and classes.
• Use scheduling software to book and re-book clients.
• Promote and grow the tennis program within the community.
• Organize social and competitive tennis events for juniors and adults.
• Attend regular Service Game training sessions.
