Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs in West Michigan seeks a Head Tennis Professional to lead group and private tennis instruction across all ages, collaborating with the Tennis Manager to grow the program. Maintain high teaching standards and support program administration on and off court.

The role requires USTA membership, USPTA/USPTR certification (or intent to obtain within 6 months), and 3+ years of teaching; college playing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• USTA member is required.
• USPTA or USPTR certification required, or must obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum three to four years of college education.
• Involvement with USTA and local/state tennis organizations.
• First Aid/CPR training required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
• College playing experience preferred at NCAA Division I-III.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and private tennis instruction for all ages 3 and up.
• Work with Tennis Manager to grow the program.
• Maintain high teaching standards on and off court.
• Handle scheduling, attendance records, and registration forms.
• Cultivate new/existing member business through outreach and events.
