Position Overview

As a full-time Teller Lead within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will coach Tellers on customer service skills, supervise conversations that enable referral opportunities for PNC products, greet customers, educate on new technology, supervise transactions, and assist with outbound calling initiatives. This position is based in Canyon Lake, CA at the Canyon Lake retail banking branch. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and lead tellers to deliver a unique customer experience, improve customer financial wellbeing, create loyalty, and increase share of wallet. Process customer interactions, educate on financial options, identify banking opportunities, and refer as appropriate.
• Identify opportunities through meaningful conversations, making referrals to branch staff or PNC ecosystem partners.
• Engage with customers in the lobby, position PNC products to meet their needs, and educate on managing transactions with technology and resources.
• Maintain clear communication, handle transactions efficiently, resolve problems, and assist in performance management and hiring processes.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrate sound judgment, and ensure branch operations are efficient and accurate.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates should demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities including accountability, customer service, leveraging technology, proactive sales, accuracy, communication, problem-solving, and understanding customer needs.

Typically requires 1+ years of related experience; no degree or certifications are required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges from $45,760 to $62,400, with incentive eligibility based on performance. PNC offers comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
