Client & Service Expert:
Develop business-driving initiatives that build repeat business or attract new customers.
Communicate and achieve store productivity targets including sales per hour, ADT, UPT, and capture rate.
Ensure all associates and leadership complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
Leadership Presence/Steward of Talent:
Assist SSL/Area Leader with achieving financial success through improving measurable results that positively impact store performance.
Responsible for assuming the SL role in the manager’s absence, if applicable.
Lead by example with personal sales goals.
Educate the team on product knowledge, sales plans, personal goals, and measurable stats, coaching to maximize business.
Network in the community to fill open positions efficiently, building a bench for future promotions and openings.
Ensure all open positions are posted and managed through iCIMs.
Onboard new team members through 30/60/90 touch bases; conduct ongoing performance reviews and address concerns timely, partnering with HR as needed.
Building Brand Equity:
Understand and communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
Ensure brand and operating standards are met to support brand consistency.
Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation standards.
Communicate merchandise sell-through, stock levels, business trends, product issues, and customer feedback to senior leadership to boost customer service and sales.
Operational Excellence:
Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, and securing the facility.
Assist with managing payroll budgets by scheduling effectively and making necessary adjustments.
Monitor and follow company policies, especially regarding loss prevention.
Manage POS transactions accurately to maintain inventory integrity.
Partner with warehouse to manage workload planning, markdowns, and merchandise flow.
Maintain organizational and cleanliness standards in the office and facility.
